Our team then gets in touch to review your design, fine-tune the layout, and confirm your site's suitability. When you're happy and everything checks out, secure your package with a $1,100 refundable deposit and your spot in the install queue. Balance is payable on completion.

For a standard installation, yes. Packages are designed for single phase properties with metal or clay tile roofs. Two and three phase properties and other roof types are welcome but may involve additional work, and we confirm any extra cost with you before you commit beyond the deposit.

The inverter and battery needs an installation spot within 5 metres of your switchboard, extra cabling beyond that is quoted separately.

Yes, displayed prices already have the applicable federal rebates (STC & BSTC) deducted. Eligibility criteria apply, for example battery-only packages require existing solar PV. We confirm your eligibility before proceeding.

Yes. Since our team confirms your site's suitability before any deposit is taken, the deposit is simply refunded in full if you decide not to proceed for any reason before installation.

These packages are installed within 100km of the Brisbane CBD, including the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and Moreton Bay. AusPac Solar itself installs right across Australia and the Pacific Islands, so if you're outside the package area, get in touch and we'll quote your system the traditional way.

A Virtual Power Plant (e.g. Amber SmartShift) pays you for feeding stored energy back to the grid at peak times. Our battery packages are VPP ready out of the box, and you choose whether to join one, earnings depend on the program and your usage.

The battery-only package requires an existing solar PV system at your property (a government battery rebate requirement). Your new battery's performance depends on your existing solar system, which remains your responsibility to maintain.

Yes. Every package includes a hybrid inverter, so storage can be added any time without replacing your inverter.

You'll need it removed before installation, arrange it yourself, or we can quote the removal for you.

Here's what surprises most people: a battery alone doesn't power your home in a blackout. Without dedicated backup wiring, most battery systems shut down right alongside the grid. Our packages include that wiring as standard, so during an outage your battery keeps every safety-switch-protected circuit running, up to 45 amps: lights, fridge, internet, the things that matter.

Our prices assume your meter board and switchboard meet current electrical standards. If yours doesn't, we'll quote the upgrade separately, or you're welcome to have your own electrician do the work. Either way your package price doesn't change, the upgrade is a separate job, not a hidden extra.
